Its about a journey and being lost, unable to find your way, and trying to see things for what they really are.
Part of the poem outlines a theory that all sin arises from love.
It may have connection to reflections on a catholic childhood, and or whether it can be paralleled with current social and political theory.
I’m always trying to find a map or pattern to best represent life as I experience it.
So when I’m excited by something, I probably see it as a link and try and use it to make good paintings.
